Faculty
Assistant/Associate Professor in Management & Marketing
The College of Business seeks applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Management (tenure-track) position beginning fall 2023. Appointment and title are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Successful applicants must possess a doctoral degree in Management or Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field. Candidates who are ABD will also be considered.
Responsibilities include teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as engaging in scholarly research and academic and professional service. The teaching assignments will include specialized HR courses such as staffing, compensation, international HR, labor relations, and talent development.
The preferred candidate will demonstrate experience teaching and mentoring a diverse group of students. They should also be able to contribute to fostering diversity of the campus, curriculum discipline, or department.
While the home location will be the Denton campus, teaching may occasionally be required at the Houston or Dallas campuses and may include online or hybrid delivery formats.

Assistant Professor in Health Care Administration
The College of Business is searching for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach Health Care Administration beginning January 2023. To be appointed as an Assistant Professor, candidates must possess an earned doctorate degree in Health Care Administration or a related discipline. ABD candidates near completion will be considered. Professional experience in health care administration is highly desired, as is an MBA.
Applicants should have the ability to teach a variety of courses in Health Care Administration. Candidates with expertise in health care finance, economics, accounting, policy or regulation are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online delivery formats to support primarily the MBA in Health Care Administration. This faculty position may also involve teaching in the Masters in Health Care Administration (MHA) program as needed.

Assistant Professor in Management & Entrepreneurship
The TWU College of Business seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach Entrepreneurship beginning fall 2023. Successful candidates must possess an earned doctorate degree in Management with specialization in Entrepreneurship. ABD candidates near completion will be considered.
Applicants should have the ability to teach a variety of courses in entrepreneurship and be qualified as scholarly academic for AACSB purposes. Candidates may also be required to teach courses in management and strategy. Responsibilities include teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online delivery formats, as well as engaging in scholarly research and academic and professional service. Research consistent with TWU’s mission is desirable but not required. TWU’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs partners with the College of Business in supporting programs in entrepreneurship.
Professional experience in entrepreneurship is highly desired but not essential. The preferred candidate will demonstrate experience teaching and mentoring a diverse group of students. They should also be able to contribute to fostering diversity of the campus, curriculum discipline, or department.

Duties: This position supports the Dean of the College of Business in marketing and outreach, greatly expanding the College of Business’s visibility internally and externally. This position is based on the Denton campus. Supports the Dean in outreach and networking, develops employer networks, organizes events and oversees website, marketing, digital marketing and social media. Supervises student workers for social media and digital marketing activities. Engages in outreach activities for establishing and coordinating internships in the three campus communities. Work is performed under minimal supervision and performance evaluation is based upon completion of assignments and attainment of organizational goals. Duties: Strategically plans and executes recruitment for undergraduate programs currently offered by the College of Business at Texas Woman's University. This includes recruiting and assisting prospective students as a TWU representative, supporting the university's and college's enrollment goals, and fostering professional relationships with school districts, prospective students and businesses. In addition, this role will involve developing strategies for student retention and working closely with college leadership to implement those strategies. An emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives will be placed on all work related to recruitment and retention.
