The woman suffrage movement
As part of TWU’s commemoration of the Texas ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, Dr. Nancy Baker Jones, president of the Ruthe Winegarten Memorial Foundation for Texas Women’s History, spoke with Nancy Bocskor, former director of the CWPPP, about the woman suffrage movement.
